Your
Last Weeks
On Leave
When you're nearing the end of your leave, connecting with your team at work can help ease your transition back.
Open Line Of Communication
Approximately 2-3 weeks before you return to work, your benefits coach will follow up with you to confirm you are on track with your return to work date.
The Wellness Room
As you return to work, you may encounter moments in your day when you need a timeout or you need to pump. Please let your benefits coach know if you will need access to the wellness room. We kindly ask that you keep the wellness room tidy after each use.
STEP 8:
Return
To
Work
We understand that it will take time to acclimate to your new responsibilities and fine-tune your work-life balance. We’re here to help you during this transition.
Your First Day Back
You will meet with your team for a briefing to discuss:
The current projects
The deadlines
Where you fit into the current projects
You will also have a one-on-one with your manager to review
Priorities and expectations as you return to work
Any departmental changes, if applicable
Informal Sit Downs
Your manager should schedule regular sit downs to discuss your progress at work, and any issues or concerns regarding your transition.
Network
It's always a good idea to connect with other new parents at Havas for advice and support. You may also reach out to our Employee Assistance Program for assistance in finding daycare centers, babysitters and much more. Please also remember that we have back up child care through Vivvi.
